OUCH! Sta. Rosa gas and toll fare

\"SLEX

Definitely one of the biggest adjustments I\’ll make in moving to the South is the added cost of gas and toll!

\"SLEX

I used to spend P500 for gas weekly and zero for toll fare. Compare that to this week, which saw at least five visits to Nuvali from Quezon City, and voila– I\’ve gone well over P1,500 for my transpo expenses in one week!

Must think of more efficient ways of traveling to and fro the city… hopefully I get to figure out the shuttle services within Nuvali itself, and from Paseo de Sta. Rosa to Makati and Ortigas.

  1. I guess this is one of the downfall living in south and then have to work in the city. Our case is different since we live in Manila but my husband works in Sta. Rosa, the everyday traffic along with the rising cost of gas and the toll fare are just too much. He resulted to either catching the shuttle service or joining a car pool.

    1. commuting and carpooling do sound like the way to go!
Would you know the shuttle options from Sta. Rosa to Makati/Ortigas? Schedule, venue?

      1. Are you still looking for a carpool from Paseo Sta Rosa to Makati? I currently run one with a few neighbours for almost a year now

  2. Im finding a way how to be cost efficient with toll/gas expense –I’m looking for carpool service that will help me get to Makati. I can be in a meeting place by 7:00 am daily and be back in from Makati to Nuvali by 3:00 pm. I’m thinking of leaving my car at a place safe near because I also need a car to get in our village. I can not drive the SLEX every single day.
