Why Land Development?

2017-06-18_11-23-10

Land is the very foundation of any home, and how we plan, design and build on our lands is step one in building livable, creative communities.

Years of experience as licensed real estate brokers have given my family and I front row seats to the unfolding of real estate developments in the Philippines. My first foray into a build-and-sell project was in 2010, when I built a small green home in an emerging sustainable community in Laguna, Philippines. You can read about that adventure in MyNuvaliHome.

This section of Alaya.PH will tackle the real estate aspect of creative communities.  Its primary concern is how to translate the big dream into tangible, living environments in the Philippines.

Other topics you’ll see here:

  • affordable and quality home designs
  • healing spaces
  • masterplanned communities in the Philippines and abroad
  • daycare and elderly homes
  • urban planning and cities
  • tourism development
  • community-based and sustainable tourism

I created a pinterest board to help with the visuals:
Key words: eco-village, permaculture, tiny homes, hybrid green homes, efficient, minimalist, essentialist, community, shared spaces, cohousing
