We pray, often with a litany of petitions or thanks. We surrender to the Mighty Hand that controls everything, but really, who is this person/being/creator who has the last say? And are we really frozen statues who have no say in how our lives turn out?

Day#1: Finally starting on the 1st of three paintings due this week. Work in progress. Based on Filipino master HR Ocampo’s “Lunar Ritual”
Day#2: Calling it a night. Layer1 done. Working title: Who turns heads when we pray?
Day#3: Presented this in class, but was asked to rework it to bring out the reds and greens. Lesson learned: ask questions, mas okay makulit kaysa umulit.
